Moving on... kinda Just posted, over on SP, what may be my last SP blog for anyone who is still “out there, over there” as well as myself. It's just a collection of random thoughts and sentiments. SP played a very unique role in my life which I don't think I recognized, or truly appreciated, until it ended. (hmmm Isn't that a familiar story... ??) What started out as a source of information and motivation for all things healthy weight- related, it ended up a place where I found and nurtured friendships. They mean/meant a lot to me and I am grateful to be able to continue at least a few via different venues. Despite checking in and commenting on SP almost daily, I never was a regular at writing blogs. Ditto I don't journal. But going back over my past blogs gave me some insight into what it must mean to those who do. Re-reading those old blogs sure was a sentimental journey but I resisted the temptation to save them. Brody bits... in which Brody blogs Thanks to OneKidsMom for pushing us off the diving board and into a new blogging pool! More than likely you've followed us to this blog from SP so you're familiar with Brody, Riley etc. and know we are not regular bloggers (and often stray out of the physical health and nutrition lane.) But you never know where this new path will lead us. Now to let Brody (my now 5yo rescue dog for those who may not already know him) tell a bit about freedom on the Fourth of July - from his perspective. Hi all - Brody here! Mom is letting me give you the latest as she tries out this new place to post what she calls blogs. Not sure what that means but I've got a story to tell. Supposedly yesterday was some kind of holiday. From my perspective (about one foot off the ground) it meant there were fewer people and dogs out on the walking paths and lots of strange noises coming from the sky that kept me from falling asleep until way past my usual bed
